Who Is Jennifer Damiano From Spring Awakening?
Jennifer Damiano was part of the original Broadway cast of Spring Awakening as an ensemble member and understudy for the roles of Anna, Martha, Ilse, and Thea on December 10, 2006, when she was 15 years old.
She was the cast’s youngest member. Damiano was originally hired to understudy Lea Michele in the lead role of Wendla, but she was unable to do so legally because she was under the age of 16, and the role requires brief nudity.
Jennifer appears in the much anticipated documentary Spring Awakening: Those You’ve Known which has been attributed as an emotional tribute to the Tony-winning Broadway run of “Spring Awakening,” directed by Michael John Warren and produced by RadicalMedia.
The original cast and creative team reunite for a spectacular, one-night-only reunion concert to benefit The Actors Fund, fifteen years after the smash hit. It premieres on May 3 at 9 PM on HBO.

The well-known stage actress Jennifer Damiano does not have a husband as she never married. However, she did once date American actor and singer-songwriter Reeve Carney in 2011.

Parents Mark and Nancy Damiano raised Damiano in White Plains, New York. Her father, Mark, is the owner of an amusement park, and her mother, Nancy, works at a hospital. The house was never quiet with her and her siblings Pat and Elizabeth always up to something.
She began taking voice lessons when she was nine years old and joined The Random Farms Kids’ Theater, where she performed in roles such as Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella’s title role, Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical, and Marion Paroo in The Music Man.
Damiano continued her education while pursuing her acting career, graduating from a public high school in her hometown in 2009.
