Jonathan LaPaglia is the husband of Ursula Brooks, whom he married in 1998 and has been going strong since then. Ursula is also an actress and has starred in movies, including the 2009 black comedy Happy in the Valley and Angels and Demons.
Jonathan, the youngest of three sons of Maria Johannes and Gedio “Eddie” LaPaglia, is also a Doctor. He graduated from Rostrevor College, and in 1991 he got his MBBS medical degree from the University of Adelaide.
LaPaglia worked for three years as an emergency ward physician in Adelaide, Sydney, and London. Later, he decided to follow his brother in acting and moved to New York and joined the Circle in the Square Theatre School.
