Joe Milton and his parents DeShea Bouie and Joe Milton II moved to Orlando from Pahokee. DeShea and Joe II have five kids.

The 22-year-old athlete speaks highly of his mom, who often worked nights to make ends meet when they were in Pahokee per Mlive. DeShea was the one who decided to move to Orlando, Florida, for a better lifestyle.

Joe Milton was born to his parents DeShea Bouie and Joe Milton II on the 6th of March 2000.

His mother DeShea is 39 years old, born on the 14th of November 1983. Her son wished her a happy 35th birthday on the 15th of November 2018 through his Twitter account. 

Joe’s mom is a Christian through and through. She took and his four siblings to church in Palm Beach County. In the church pew of Orlando, Milton found faith that God wanted him to attend Michigan and not Georgia.

Growing up, Joe would be without a football whether he was on the bus or walking. His parents were strict when he was young, to keep him from straying down the wrong path. Education was important to them. 

If he got a bad grade on his report card, his mom would take away his football so he would works toward getting his grade back up.

She has maintained a private account on Instagram under the username @mommamilton. Her bio states God always comes first and she loves her kids unconditionally. 

Bouie also made a brief appearance on her son’s commitment video when he committed to play collegiate football for the University of Michigan and shared how she stands with the best decision that the athlete made in 2017.

Joe Grew Up With His Family In Pahokee

Joe Milton grew up in an athletic Christian family in an area named The Muck in Pahokee. Joe has tattooed Muck City on his arms.

The athlete spent his childhood in a rural town with a population of about 5,400 in Palm Beach County along the shore of Lake Okeechobee. 

Later, the Milton family moved to Orlando, Florida, in 2015. He was halfway through his first year of high school. In his commitment video, the athlete expressed how hard it was growing up in Pahokee.

The footballer also has an uncle named Harvey Mitchell, who helped him a lot in his journey, along with a few Pop Warner coaches and Hayes. Per Orlando Sentinel, Harvey and the other coaches made the athlete understand how to keep his shoulders up and throw the ball on a different level.

Joe is one of the five children of DeShea and Joe II as such he has four siblings. 

The athlete has a brother named Jomaine Milton. However, his other brothers and sisters have lived a low life and have yet to appear on the athlete’s social media platforms.

Joe Also Has Cousins Who Played Football

Joe Milton has a cousin D J Boldin from Pahokee in Florida who played football.

Boldin played his collegiate career for Wake Forest with a scholarship. Later, the football coach signed with the Detroit Lions and played in the CFL for Toronto Argonauts in 2010 and 2011. He now serves as the head coach at Lake Erie College.

Likewise, his other cousin Anquan Boldin is a retired National Football League wide receiver who played 14 seasons in the National Football League for the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, and more.
