Wendy Petrie was born in August 1971 and is a journalist and television presenter from New Zealand. She is best known for co-hosting 1 News at Six with Simon Dallow from 2006 until 2020.

Rumors about the partners are dating have been going around which neither Simon nor Wendy has confirmed yet.

One News presenter Simon Dallow and Wendy Petrie have been together longer than many marriages, and they know a lot about one other now, just like any pair. 

It wasn’t always like this, according to Petrie, who revealed that they had no preparations for their January 2005 on-air debut.

She says, “It simply seems weird now.” “We’d never even sat down together to read the news.”

The 1987 stock market meltdown came while Simon Dallow was on his OE, forcing him to change courses because a career in bankruptcy law was undesirable.

Dallow then worked for Contiki Tours throughout Europe for the following six years, when he met his future wife Alison Mau. In 1993, they returned to New Zealand and began working for TVNZ.
