Alison Dos Santos is a Brazilian athlete best known for 400-meter hurdles.

Even though he played judo as a child, Alison decided to switch to athletics. At the age of 16, he was competing in various tournaments across the world. He won a bronze in the 2018 World U-20 Championships. 

Also, Alison won the 2019 Pan American Games at 19, beating his previous record. It was already the 4th highest record in history. 

But in Oregon in 2022, he would beat his record again, making him the third-fastest person in the history of 400m hurdles.

Furthermore, his parents had to admit him to a hospital, where he stayed for several months before getting cured. The incident inspired him to play judo, but Alison later decided on athletics. 

And as a result, he is the third-fastest athlete in the history of the 400-meter hurdles.
