Case, who turned 17 years old this year, is an athlete for the PDS Chargers and is set to continue his family legacy.

Gibbs had shared an Instagram story not less than a day ago celebrating his older brother Ty Gibbs, Xfinity series. But only a few hours after Ty’s victory, news broke out about their father, Coy Gibbs’ demise.

Coy, 49, who shared Case, Ty, Elle, and Jett with his wife Heather, passed away Sunday morning. Joe Gibbs Racing confirmed the news.

After his son’s victory, Coy told reporters about the pride he felt watching his son be crowned the winner. Coy’s brother, J.D Gibbs, passed away in 2019 after a neurological disease, and now Joe Gibbs has lost all of his two children with whom he led his NASCAR organization.

Case Gibbs is one of the four children of the late Coy Gibbs. The teenager has remained away from the public limelight despite coming from a legendary racing family.

Case has an Instagram handle with the username @casegibbs67, but the 17-year-old does not use it frequently as it only has a single post.

Case, along with his family, had celebrated his older brother Ty’s victory on November 5, but a few hours later, the Gibbs family suffered a major heartbreak after the passing of Coy Gibbs.

The Gibbs family released a statement in the early morning which read, “It is with great sorrow that Joe Gibbs Racing confirms that Coy Gibbs (co-owner) went to be with the Lord in his sleep last night,’ the organization said in a statement. 

The family appreciates all the thoughts and prayers and asks for privacy at this time.”

Case Gibbs, age 17, is the second youngest child of Coy Gibbs and Heather Gibbs. Case Gibbs comes from the Gibbs family, who has established a dynasty in NASCAR racing.

Currently, Gibbs is making his baseball career and looking to break into the MLB in the coming years. The teenager had last posted on August 1 on his Instagram handle with the username @casegibbs67, and by the looks of the comment section, it seems as if the 17-year-old had enjoyed a great game with his North Carolina team.

Case Gibbs has three siblings: Ty, Jett, and Elle. Two of his siblings have forged their career paths as athletes and are slowly trying to make their best to be known for their respective work rather than their family name.

1. Ty Gibbs

Ty Gibbs, the oldest sibling among the three, has already made noise in the NASCAR scenes. The 20-year-old drives the No. 23 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing and won the 2021 ARCA Menards Series championship.

Ty began his career as a racer at the age of 13, and on November 5, a day before his father’s demise, Ty Gibbs won the Xfinity Series title, which was met by loads of cheers as well as boos as he had previously wrecked his teammates’ car.

Elle Gibbs, age 18, is an avid equestrian and has previously ranked top in the national standings. The only daughter of Coy and Heather Gibbs owns two horses, Mikey and Blue.

Blue is the latest addition to their family, as Elle’s mother had previously shared photos of her daughter riding the beautiful horse in the ring at Aiken, South Carolina.

Jett Gibbs, age 15, is the youngest member of the Gibbs family. Jett, like his brother Casey, is a competitive athlete interested in baseball and football.

Heather Gibbs met her husband, Coy Gibbs, through her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, who then set them up on a blind date.

And after dating for a long time, the couple tied the knot in 2004, after which they even relocated to D.C. The couple welcomed their first child in 2002 in Ty Gibbs.

Life had been busy since then for the couple, who then welcomed three more children and the two working on their respective careers. With Coy handling the racing side of the family and Heather working as a broker and realtor.

As a realtor, Heather Gibbs has made nearly $200 million sales and says that her experience stems from traveling and relocating more than 14 times in the last 23 years.

4. Case Gibbs Is An Athlete

Case Gibbs is a baseball player and has followed in the footsteps of those before him as he looks to make a career as an athlete.

The youngster plays for the North Carolina Baseball team and has previously shared a photo of him in action on his Instagram handle.

His mother, Heather Gibbs, has also shared a lovely photo of Case Gibbs and his grandfathers cheering him on during his matchday. Case Gibbs is not the athlete of his family.

His late father, Coy Gibbs, was a NASCAR driver and assistant coach of Washington Commanders. His grandfather is a former football coach and the owner of the NASCAR team Joe Gibbs racing. And his brother, Ty Gibbs, is a rising star in the racing scene.

Case’s older sister, Elle, is an equestrian and his younger brother, Jett, is a baseball player at his school.

5. Case Gibbs Plays For The PDS Chargers

17-year-old Case Gibbs is a player for the PDS Chargers. Case has been part of the Province Day Chargers since his early school days and plays in their baseball team.

On April 13, 2021, Case scored his first home run, a feat his mother had shared with her Instagram followers. Case and his friend Austin posed with their home-run ball, and Heather captioned the post, “First home run for Austin and Case. What a great game. Love watching this team work together!”

Case will graduate from PDS in 2025, as per his Instagram bio.
