Coach Nick Sirianni Talks Family Before His TNF Matchup

Before his TNF Matchup, Nick Sirianni talked about his family supporting his opponent’s team and showed slight dissatisfaction towards their behavior.

The Eagles coach has disowned his family because he was insulted by them wearing the opposing team’s colors. He added that his parents are ardent Pittsburgh Steelers supporters because they were raised there. They were against Philly when the two teams faced each other in their most recent meeting. At the very least, he has stopped sending them Christmas cards.

Away from that interaction, he is now focused on preparing his other family for their next NFL clash. He treats every player on the team as a family, and with the faith of their head coach, the Eagles give their 100% in their game and attempt to win every challenge presented in front of them.

Their performance this season is an excellent example of such dedication. They haven’t lost a single match this season and have maintained a winning streak of seven games in the National Football Conference – Eastern Division.

Sirianni was appointed head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles on January 24, 2021, replacing Doug Pederson. After his first season in command, the Eagles had a 9-8 record and a wild-card spot.

Sirianni led the team to a 15-31 loss to the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite being in charge of the Eagles for only a season, he has registered his name as one of the greatest coaches to lead the following NFL side.

Along with Chip Kelly in 2013 and Ray Rhodes in 1995, Sirianni became the third Eagles head coach to reach the playoffs in their first season.

Head coach Nick is blessed to be part of a family of five, including his wife and three kids. He also grew up in a family of five with his parents and two brothers who were avid Pittsburgh Steelers fans.

He remembers glimpses of his childhood when he used to be a great fan of the Steelers due to the influence of his parents. His father, Fran, has also worked as a professional head coach at Southwestern Central High School’s football team. It is the same school from which Sirani and his brothers graduated. Like his father, Jay, their brother, also served as Southwestern Central High School’s head coach.

On the other hand, Mike Sirianni, his other brother, is the head coach at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania. He has been in the role since 2003 and is still going strong, putting on a fantastic show every year. In his eleven seasons as head coach, he has amassed a record of 101-24. He was named PAC Coach of the Year five times in his first 11 years at Washington & Jefferson.

While growing up, he had all the facilities to become a reputed football player and even started his career as a player. Sirianni participated in the Division III Mount Union wide receiver program in Alliance, Ohio. As a sophomore, an injury and compartment syndrome almost ended his playing days.

However, he didn’t give up playing and ought his health to establish a healthy image of a player in front of his father. As a result, the NFL head coach finished his senior year with 13 touchdowns and 998 yards. He also participated in one season of the American Indoor Football League competition for the Canton Legends before concluding his playing carer in 2005.

However, he couldn’t keep himself away from the game, and immediately, he kickstarted his career as a coach, following in the footsteps of his father and brother.

He is close to his family, but due to their team’s preference, the family gets tangled into arguments that are only temporary. He never fails to spend quality time with his family whenever he gets time. 

Nick Sirianni has been married to his stunning wife, Brett Ashley Cantwell, since 2013.

They first spoke in 2010 when the Kansas City Chiefs employed Nick. They haven’t talked about how they first met, but they disclosed how Brett’s sister insisted she meets the man she would spend the rest of her life with.

The pair dated for about two years before tying the knot on June 22, 2013, in Kansas City. Since then, Brett has supported her husband as he ascended to the sport’s pinnacle.

She formerly taught in schools and currently looks after her family. She doesn’t like to be in the limelight, so she is also not active on social media. She is a native of Springfield, Missouri, but she moved to Kansas City to start her teaching career, where she met Nick Sirianni, the man who would become her husband.

Their union has been fruitful for Nick’s career, as his trajectory of success has only gone after being together with his wife. She has brought a matter of luck in the life of an NFL coach, and they are equally delighted to be integral parts of each other’s life.

Nick Sirianni and his wife, Brett, are blessed with three children; two sons and a daughter.

Jacob, the couple’s first child, was born in 2015, two years after their marriage. Taylor, their daughter, was born in 2017 and is their second child. In 2020, the couple gave birth to their third child, son Miles.

He had a busy schedule and a demanding job, so he didn’t have much time to spend with his adorable children. He openly expresses his feelings and tries to balance his personal and professional lives.

In the absence of her husband, Brett takes on the family’s ideal head role, and she has done an excellent job raising her three children.

She and Nick Sirianni have been married for nine years, and their union has thrived despite numerous challenges. The pair doesn’t want to demonstrate their devotion in front of others, but they express their love for one another in all important ways.

Like athletes and coaches, kids frequently adopt the traits of their parents. Sirianni just became a parent and is still learning ideal ways of becoming a great father. Despite being one of the country’s most adored sports personalities, his older son only appears to be interested exclusively in sports, and it is not football.

He prefers baseball and enrolls in sports lessons in his neighborhood, which his father occasionally attends. Due to his profession, Sirianni must spend most of his time away from his children, but whenever he has free time, he rushes to see his kid swing the bat and send the baseball flying.
