One of the few dreams he can recall from the previous several months occurred when Matechen stood outside his North Myrtle Beach home. The dream was very vivid. His deceased grandparents held his two kids, assuring him they were now in a safe environment.

Even though he doesn’t go to the dumpster as often as he used to, Matechen continues to frequent the Cherry Grove apartment building where his daughter was given a new home.
