Kelton Breshon Fox serves in jail for the cold murder of Tierra Hall. It is horrifying to think about what someone can go through.
Tierra Hall Kelton was a normal 17 years old girl living in Durham, NC. Raised by her single mother, she was attending the Jordan High School in the city and dreamt of becoming a businesswoman someday.
However, everything shattered on the day of March 27, 2015. Though Hall went to school like any other normal day, she never came back to her home.
Unfortunately, Hall was murdered by her former love affair, Kelton Fox.
Whereabouts of Kelton Breshon Fox in 2022
Kelton Breshon Fox is still in jail as of 2022 and will remain there until 2027.
The jury convicted Fox of the second-degree murder of Tierra Hall in June 2018. He is currently serving his sentence at the Gaston Correctional Institution in Dallas, North Carolina.
However, Fox’s legal team did present a strong case to reduce his sentence. They claimed their client grew up in a family with an absentee father and constant domestic violence. Likewise, they also stated Fox suffered from several mental illnesses such as hallucinations, paranoia, and partial borderline personality disorder.
The judge ultimately sentenced him to 12 to 15 years in prison. If everything goes right, he will be released from the bars in April 2027. However, not everyone was happy with the verdict with some demanding life sentence for the murderer.

Tierra Hall Murder Case – Horror at High School of Durham NC
On March 28, 2015, the police found Hall’s cold body behind an empty house. The house was just a mile away from the school.
The poor girl was stabbed 14 times in different parts of her body including her neck, shoulder, head and arm. The situation was so gruesome that the tip of the knife had broken off into her left cheek.
Soon after the initiation of the investigation, the police came across 17 years old Kelton Fox. Apparently, the two had a tumultuous relationship from the start. Eventually, Hall ended up dumping Kelton in 2014 for good. Though everything seemed normal at first, Kelton still held the grudge.
The CCTV footage showed that the ex-lovers met each other several times on the day of Hall’s disappearance. The two eventually walked out of the high school together. However, only Kelton was seen returning back to the school.
Furthermore, the police also learned that Kelton was living in the empty house. When the house was searched for evidence, they found Kelton’s shoes laced with blood that matched Hall’s blood.
Kelton was arrested shortly after.
The Case on Dateline Episode
Tierra Hall and Kelton Breshon Fox’s Wikipedia pages are still under review. Nevertheless, the story has been featured in multiple crime and investigation TV shows.
On June 22, 2022, the documentary of the case premiered in See No Evil in an episode titled “Savage By Name”. In fact, it received high ratings from viewers.
Tierra Hall’s body was found outside of an abandoned house, now police must piece together the identity of her killer.

However, there is no Dateline episode for the incident as of now. The show makers might be planning to film something soon.
The teenage murder case shocked Durham city soon after officials confirmed it to the public. This even sparked conservations around the town for the safety of their children.
