Who Is Clarence Yarbrough? Arrested Over Assaulting A Woman In Baton Rouge

Clarence Yarbrough is a singer, American by nationality, who is currently trending on Internet as he scheduled to wed his partner on the same day he was going to wed his female fiance, whom he dumped after finding out she was pregnant.

Before their nuptials, Clarence’s fiance Kirk claimed on Facebook that they dated for two years before splitting up, going six months without speaking to one another.

Kirk also said that Clarence is his “best friend and the love of my life.” They chose to talk because their previous relationships had failed. The two are set to exchange their wedding vows; however, Clarence is receiving much backlash for leaving her girlfriend in that situation.

More than that, netizens are surprised that he chose the same wedding day he had planned for his female fiancee. People, especially on Twitter, circulate their marriage invitations and talk about how he did not alter the day.

Clarence Yarbrough is often confused with Akeem Yarbrough, who was arrested in 2017 for assaulting a woman in Baton Rouge. In October 2017, a man named Akeem Yarbrough was detained by the Baton Rouge Police Department for attempting second-degree kidnapping and second-degree battery. 

The Louisiana State Police Crime Lab was crucial in establishing the relationship between Yarbrough and the DNA recovered on the victim’s clothing. He was accused of assaulting a 30-year-old woman running in the 2500 block of East Lakeshore Drive.

She was attacked roughly at 6:15 p.m. on November 21, 2013, and the BPRD started looking into the incident. The woman was snatched from behind while running with headphones on and held in choke until she momentarily passed out.

The victim claims that Yarbrough was on top of her and striking her in the upper torso and stomach with a closed hand when she came to. The culprit reportedly jumped off her as she started to scream and ran into the surrounding woods. Fortunately, the old lady did not need any medical attention.

Clarence Yarbrough is ready to marry his boyfriend, Kirk Scott, and he is currently on the news for the guts to select the same wedding day he chose to marry his ex-fiance.

Yarbrough posted a photo of his engagement to his fiancee on May 25. He said that the couple would get married on September 3, 2022. With selecting his wedding date, Clarence wrote- ““Y’all better get ready to save your Date I’m getting ready to put my foot on the pedal #Sept 3, 2022.”

In a shocking turn of events, Yarbrough announced he would still get married in September, on the same date, but to Scott and no longer to his ex-girlfriend. According to rumors, Clarence left his fiancee after allegedly getting her pregnant.

Yarbrough stated in his post that Scott and he would be married in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the United States. Scott disclosed that he and Yarbrough had previously dated for two years before their union fell apart, according to a now-deleted Facebook post.

He further claimed that the two decided to get back together after Yarbrough’s relationship with his girlfriend did not go as planned. In Scott’s words- “Let me just say this, Clarance and I separated for 6 months without contact. With that being said, we dated for 2 years before our separation. So the love we had didn’t die throughout those six months.”
