The 81-year-old music legend, who had previously stated that he had not been invited to perform at Saturday’s Platinum Party At The Palace, proudly took the stage to perform as a slew of buses carrying British national treasures from every decade of the Queen’s reign drove down The Mall for the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
The actor, who was on the 1950s bus, wore a Union Jack suit and smiled as he joined other stars on the bus, including Chris Eubank and Katherine Jenkins, to sing the famous 1958 song Move It.
