Dash Crofts, an American actor, and musician paid tribute to his fellow partner of soft-rock duo Seals and Crofts, Jim Seals, following his death at the age of 80.

Seals and Crofts had been Bahá believers for a long time, which affected the themes of many of their songs. Brady Seals of the country band Little Texas revealed Jim’s death on social media, but no cause of death was mentioned.

Seals had a string of hits in the 1970s with his musical partner Darrell “Dash” Crofts, including three top-10 singles: “Summer Breeze,” “Diamond Girl,” and “Get Closer,” all of which peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
