Atlanta rapper Kentavious Wright aka Dirty Tay, was arrested for the alleged shooting of a 3-year-old boy.
Kentavious Wright has been arrested by Atlanta police for shooting a 3-year-old boy in the head when he was riding in the back of his father’s car earlier this month.
He was detained on August 19 and faces accusations of aggravated assault, aggravated violence, involvement in a criminal street gang, criminal attempt to commit murder, and mistreatment of children.
According to the police, the shooting occurred on Peters Street on August 3 around 4 p.m.
The father and son were leaving a neighboring business when a person in a blue Kia Optima started to follow them and started firing into the car.

Police revealed body-worn camera footage of the arrest, which showed multiple police taking Dirty Tay, aka Kentavious Wright, and his girlfriend into arrest.
The video showing Dirty Tay being arrested has been going around on social media, and people are talking about it.
A gun believed to belong to Wright was discovered by officers when they searched the woman, whose identity was not made public.
The investigation started when the 3-year-old boy was shot in the head as he and his father were leaving Off The Hook barbershop on Peters Street in their car, critically injuring him.
The incident report states that the father believed the suspect fired five shots before driving away and stopping at a fire station. There were three 9mm shot casings found.
After the shooting, the child was taken to the hospital and was thought to be in stable condition, but the police did not give an update on his health.
Police withheld any other details regarding the shooting’s circumstances or the reason Wright was stopped.

Kentavious Wright Aka Dirty Tay Charges
Kentavious Wright, Dirty Tay, was booked into the Fulton County Jail. He is charged with numerous offenses, such as participating in a street gang illegally, aggravated assault, aggravated violence, and mistreatment of children.
Dirty Tay is also charged with three counts of committing crimes listed in Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act to join or move up in a violent street gang.
According to authorities, Dirty Tay was questioned before being taken to the Fulton jail. No other information has been made available regarding how investigators linked Wright to the shooting, which happened on August 3rd.

Dirty Tay is currently at Fulton County Jail after being arrested. He was taken into custody by Atlanta police for shooting a 3-year-old child sitting in the backseat of his father’s car.

The victim’s car’s barren window captures the emotions of a broken neighborhood. A local added, “It’s awful when kids are involved.”
Violence like this is uncommon in this area of southwest Atlanta, according to a local resident and advocate who wished to remain anonymous.
The shooting of the child has continued to be a problem for the neighborhood as a result of gun violence.
