Judd Deere is not related to John Deere; however, their surname is only similar. John is one of the biggest and most renowned agricultural and construction Deere & Company manufacturers, and Judd is an American political advisor.

For the Arkansas Republican Party’s 2010 primary campaign, Judd began his professional career as a field director. He later started working as the Correspondence and Systems Director for U.S. Senator John Boozman.

He joined U.S. Senator Mike Crapo’s team in June 2012 as Director of New Media, working out of the senator’s Boise, Idaho office.

John Deere, who was born in Rutland, Vermont, emigrated to Illinois and created the first steel plow that was commercially successful in 1837. He was employed in Burlington before starting his own businesses, first in Vergennes and subsequently in Leicester.

Judd Deere served as deputy assistant to the president and White House deputy press secretary in the administration of Donald Trump.

He joined the U.S. Senate’s office in Boise, Idaho, in June 2012 as Director of New Media for Senator Mike Crapo. Deere contributed to Tim Griffin’s campaign for Arkansas lieutenant governor.

He started working as Leslie Rutledge’s communications director in Arkansas in December 2014 and left in November 2017.

He received a promotion to Special Assistant to the President and Director of Media Affairs. He was named Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Press Secretary in January 2019.

Deere earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from Lyon College in 2010.

Judd Deere Deere was married to Meagan Bullock. He is openly gay. Despite accusations that the Trump Administration is anti-LGBTQ, he has defended Mike Pence and Donald Trump. 

Deere, speaking on behalf of the White House of the Trump Administration, wrote a letter of threat to The Washington Post on August 27, 2020, requesting that they stop covering the private company’s business operations, the Trump Organization.

Deere further informed that David Fahrenthold, a reporter for the Washington Post, had a “dossier” put up by the White House for purposes of attacking the Administration.
