Although no official statement has been issued regarding Ivy Queen’s diagnosis, she does have a family history of cancer, making it all the more likely that she, too, has been battling the deadly disease.
Because her mother is a cancer survivor, Queen serves as a spokesperson for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In Puerto Rico, Queen participated in the “Carrera por una Cura” charity marathon (“Run for a Cure”). Queen’s father passed away in June 2016 from lung cancer.

Early morning on May 31, Ivy Queen posted a short TikTok video of a compilation of photos showing her battling an illness that her fans have assumed is cancer. Whether it is a hoax or reality has yet to be confirmed by the singer.
This is her first post on social media after a 22-day absence.

Ivy has bruises around her breast area in one of the photos, leading her viewers to believe she has breast cancer. Other pictures show her lying down or sitting with a headscarf on.
Her fans continue to speculate and have come to the conclusion that she has been undergoing chemotherapy due to her headscarf.

What Happened To The Puerto Rican Singer Ivy Queen?
Ivy Queen, a well-known Puerto Rican singer, is suffering from a serious health complication for which she has been getting treatment for several weeks.
She revealed to her fans in a TikTok video that she is battling an illness that has left her health in shambles. However, she has yet to disclose what she has been diagnosed with.

Images from the hospital indicate that she is receiving treatment.
In addition, she accompanied the video with an empowering message encouraging people to fight. “I am a learner, not a victim,” she cried out.

In late 2012, Queen married Xavier Sánchez, a Puerto Rican choreographer. In June 2013, she revealed that she and her husband were expecting their first biological child.
Queen and her former husband, Omar Navarro, adopted two Latino children, one of whom was at least a daughter, before becoming pregnant naturally.

At the Calibash 2013 concert, she showed off her baby bump, which was headlined by R&B singer Chris Brown. In November of 2013, she gave birth to her daughter Naiovy Kháli Star Sánchez at the age of 41.
