Jaden Rashada Parents Harlen Rashada And Destiny Rashada Raised A Family Of Four In The Golden State
Jaden Rashada comes from an athletic family as his brother and dad played sports. Jaden parents are Harlen and Destiny Rashada.
Rashada, age 19, is one of four kids of Harlen and Destiny Rashada. His father Harlen is a former safety and defensive back. He never pressured his kids to follow his path, but they inherited his love of sports. Likewise, his brother, Roman Rashada, plays safety for Ole Miss.
Jaden plays as a quarterback for Florida Gators, standing 6 feet and 4 inches tall. He spent his high school career at Pittsburg High School and received offers to play college football from LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M, among others.
The quarterback committed to play for Miami Hurricanes in June 2022 before his final commitment to Florida in November 2022. However, he recently filed for scholarship release from Gators, per Brandon Huffman.
Jaden Rashada Lives In California With His Family
Jaden Rashada is one of four kids of his parents Harlen and Destiny Rashada in the family.
He grew up with two brothers and a sister in Pittsburg, California. His parents have been trying to go on separate paths since 2015.
Jaden’s father Harlen filed for divorce from Destiny in 2015, per UniCourt data. A Residential Eviction lawsuit got filed against him the same year. Later in 2021, Destiny also filed for marriage dissolution.

The athlete is very attached to his grandmother and dedicates all his achievements to her. He also pushed one of the most significant decisions of his life to the 26th of June 2022, as that day marks his grandmom’s birthday. He halted his commitment to choosing where he would spend his collegiate career.
Jaden promised his mother and father to give the best in whichever school he chose to play for the next four years through a tweet in January 2022.
Jaden Has Three Siblings
Jaden has two brothers, Roman Rashada and Harlen Rashada Jr, and a sister.
His mother Destiny and sister wanted him to go to Florida. They told the athlete to keep his options open and not rule out the Gators, but he committed to Miami. However, he soon de-committed and chose Florida Gators.
Roman is also a 6 feet and 2 inches tall footballer who plays safety for Ole Miss weighing 195 pounds. He was also a three-star junior college cornerback from the class of 2022. But On3 reported that the footballer entered the transfer portal in December 2022.
The Ole Miss safety is also active on social media under the usernames @oneromans and @romanrashada_. However, Harlen has maintained a private Twitter account under the handle @Harlen_Rashada.
Jaden Rashada Dad Is Also A Former Footballer

Rashada is one of many athletes in his household. His father Harlen is a former football player.
Harlen played as a defensive back at Arizona State, per The Athletics. He was a teammate with Pat Tillman and Jake Plummer while he was an active athlete in the early 1990s.
Yet, Jaden has acknowledged that his dad never pressured him to follow in his footsteps, but he eventually fell in love with the sport as he grew up.
His father is active on social media but has maintained a private Instagram account under the handle @rashada.sports. His IG bio reads, “The game is more than just a game… it’s about family.” He has also added Arizona State and Sun devils on his Twitter bio.
Per his LinkedIn profile, the elder Rashada worked as a branch manager at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., for three years, from January 2019 to April 2022. He also served as the general manager of Greenline PM.
Furthermore, the father-son duo are religious and always put God first. The younger Rashada has always been thankful to Lord for everything.
Jaden Rashada Is Only 19 Years Of Age
Jadan Rashada is nineteen years old and began playing sports at age seven. Rashada now plays quarterback for the Florida Gators.
The quarterback got rated a five-star recruit by 247Sports, and ESPN ranked him the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the Class of 2023.
He played football at Pittsburg High School and completed 185 passes for 2,585 yards and 34 total touchdowns during his senior year. The athlete guided Pittsburg to North Coast Section Division I Championship in 2021 and 2022. He also attended a camp at San Jose State as a 9th grader and outperformed high school seniors.
Before moving to Pittsburg for his sophomore season in the Spring of 2021, Rashada spent his freshman season at Brentwood Liberty in 2019 and attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
The 19-year-old also has a big heart. Jadan had a job selling Christmas trees in December 2020. With the money he made, he bought 30 gift baskets, filled each one with a Bible, Gatorades, food, gloves, and a blanket, and gave them to Pittsburg’s homeless on Christmas Day.
Rashada also received a $13 million NIL deal which he signed with the Gator Collective in November 2022, per New York Post. However, The Athletics updated that the CEO of the Gator Collective, Rojas, sent a termination letter relating to the contract in December.
