Jason van Tatenhove Set To Testify On Jan 6 Hearing, Is The Oath Keeper Jewish?

Jason van Tatenhove was the National Media Director for the Oath Keepers in 2015. He will testify on July 12, 2022.

Oath Keepers is an American far-right anti-government militia group. It encourages its member to disobey the laws of the U.S. constitution.

Who Is Jason van Tatenhove?

Jason van Tatenhove is the former spokesperson of the far-right group, Oath Keepers. He served the group between 2015 to 2016.

He is a journalist with a Colorado news podcast. The ex-Oath Keeper employee is a novelist and contemporary artist. Jason self describes himself as a “propagandist.”

According to his LinkedIn profile, van Tatenhove has introduced himself as the Founder and writer at the Colorado Switchblade. In the past, he owned VanTat Design & Marketing, and a tattoo shop called the Runic Body Art. He is a graduate of the Arts Institute.

Van Tatenhove is a longtime resident of Esterspark, Colorado, United States. He is available on Twitter with the handle name @JasonTatenhove.

Religion: Is Jason van Tatenhove Jewish?

The former spokesperson of Oath Keepers, Jason van Tatenhove is speculated to be Jews by many.

The ex-spokesman for the Oath Keepers militia group has been subjected to such rumors because many of the group members were from varied religions. Likewise, many of his writings have also covered Jewish topics. Nevertheless, van Tatenhove has never revealed details about his faith. 

As per the media reports, van Tatenhove is married and a father. He previously ran a Fort Collins tattoo shop. However, in 2013, he closed the outlet and began living with his family in Butte, Montana. It was his family’s choice to live in a more rural area.

Van Tatenhove is one of several guys tied to an extremist group testifying on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

The Oath Keepers’ members were among those who subsided the Capitol riots on January 6, 2021.

When Biden defeated Donald Trump in the elections in 2020, a mob of his supporters attacked the Capitol building in D.C. They wanted to retain Trump in office and stopped the joint session of Congress from officially recognizing Joe Biden as the winner by tallying the electoral college votes.

Nevertheless, van Tatenhove was not among the mobsters. He has worked with the Oath Keepers at political violence stunts by the Bundy family around the West, all of which were antecedents to the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

Although, he will be among those to be testified on Tuesday. He also calls him not a part of the riot group. Instead, he calls himself a former employee. Van Tatenhove announced on his podcast that he would be testifying before the committee. 

As per the People, van Tatenhove said: “I was the propagandist for the Oath Keepers,”

He further explained: “I covered three standoffs, and by the third one, there was a job offer, so I took the job. I served as the director of national media. Years ago, I rid my life of that environment.”
