Despite winning more than $26 million in the lotto, the Selbee couple has never been pompous. Instead, they used their gains to renovate their house and aid their grandkids and great-grandchildren with their education costs.

Jerry Selbee is a resident of small countryside in Evart, Michigan, with a population of barely 2000. He and her high school sweetheart wife, Marge, have been living together, running a small convenience store on the street of Evart. 

Jerry takes care of exotic liquor and cigar while Marge handles the book shop and sandwiches. They have been watching the store for almost 20 years now. Together the Selbees raised six kids. “They are the most humble persons you’ll meet on the planet.”, says a local dweller.

Moreover, Jerry, sometimes called Gerald, is a regular old man living peacefully with his wife in the countryside, far away from the reflection of town and its toxicity. He studied at Athens High School in East Leroy Township before completing his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Western Michigan University. Even in his menial job as a materials analyst at Kellogg’s, he managed to break the code of the American cereal industry. There’s a saying, “Nothing goes to waste what you have learned in your life.” And there it is. Through his mathematical prowess, Jerry legally hacked the lottery and uncovered a loophole and, voila, unlimited money.

Jerry Selbee, the multimillionaire lottery winner, is alive and kicking. He is currently living a retirement life with his wife in Michigan.

The couple has six children and some grandchildren as of now. But their identities have not been made public. Despite winning millions of dollars in the lotto, the Seabees continued to live modestly and put their money to good use.

They also utilized their lottery winnings to start a building finance corporation to aid in the construction of homes for war veterans in Northern Michigan.
