Luke’s parents have helped their sons work toward their hockey goals. Since Jeff has been a firefighter for 27 years, he has the money to purchase the pricey hockey equipment his sons would require as they learn the sport in Saskatoon.

Each winter, Jeff also constructs an ice rink in the backyard of the family. Luke began skating on it when he was four years old. In his hometown of Saskatoon, Jeff records each Blues and Coyotes game.
