After a successful career at Cerritos, he went on to play at Loyola Marymount, earning First Team All-West Coast Conference honors. Presently, he is a health teacher and baseball coach at Cerritos’ Gahr High School.

In her four years as a player, she was a catcher at UCLA, where she guided her team to three National Championships and a National Runner-Up victory. Similarly, she led the 12th NCAA Championship and the Bruins to their 13th National Championship in 2019.
The Bruins rarely trailed in the Women’s College World Series, with Inouye-Perez winning her 600th career game in the championship game against Oklahoma.
She was selected USA Softball, NFCA, and ESPNW National Player of the Year.
