Still, his Wikipedia page mentions that he is a husband to a lady named Jamie Oberkfell and the couple currently reside in Illinois.

Oberkfell played second base most of his career but also started over 400 games at third base. Oberkfell was a baseball coach after he stopped playing.

He has worked mainly as a coach in the minor levels but also as the first base coach for the New York Mets in 2008 and the bench coach for the Mets in 2011.

He made his Major League Baseball debut with the team on August 22, 1977. Oberkfell hit.292 in the 1982 World Series while playing for the St. Louis Cardinals, who won the championship.

Oberkfell had a.278 batting average throughout a 16-year major league career, including 1602 games, 558 runs, 237 doubles, 29 home runs, 446 RBI, 44 triples, and 546 base-on-balls.

His career-ending fielding percentage was .973, which is impressive. He retired in 1992 as a player and is still regarded as one of the club legends by his former team STL Cardinals.
