Who Is Lawrence Morgan Roher From Parma Ohio? Murder Suspect Was Arrested

Lawrence Morgan Roher, a 17-year teen boy from Parma, Ohio, was shot to death by another teen on the 21st of June 2022.

He was wounded by the bullets fired by a 16-year teen who had already fled from the crime scene as the police officers had arrived there. He was detained the next day of the killing from his home at Liggett Drive.

He was an ordinary boy from Ohio who didn’t deserve to die at the very young age of 17. He was a student of Old Brook High School in Parma. It is very frightening to see 16-year-old teens walking around with guns and ending the lives of others over some minor disputes.

Roher was fond of basketball. He loved playing and watching the game. He hoped to the playing of coaching for one of the clubs NBA. The entire city of Parma has been devastated because of such crimes that are taking the lives of innocent people.

He was shot at South Park Boulevard area which is known for being a quiet area. They are situated north of Snow Road and east of State Road.

Murder Suspect Of Lawrence Morgan’s Case Arrested From His Home

The 16-year-old suspect, whose identity is not revealed by authorities, was arrested from his house situated in the 3100 block of Liggett Drive. There is a policy of the US government that doesn’t allow police officers to reveal the identity of suspects under the age of 18.

Around 3 p.m., police were called to the 5700 block of S. Park Blvd. after 911 dispatchers received numerous reports of gunshots. Officers discovered Morgan with a gunshot wound when they got to the site. After being taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, Morgan was declared deceased.

The suspect will be brought to the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court on Thursday to finalize the charges against him. Murder, felonious assault, and improper discharge over a roadway are the charges brought against him.

Lawrence Christopher Morgan was born to Columbus Morgan and Bethany Rohrer on August 20, 2004. He was an athletic kid who loved basketball. He was one of the 3 children of his parents. 

His family and friends are still in shock after the unconventional death of their beloved son. The law and order in the USA regarding the possession of lethal weapons must be amended as soon as possible. It is frightening to imagine 16-year-old kids roaming around with a firearm that can kill anybody instantly.
