In contrast to Kay, Mekhi’s career is much more public and caters to nationwide audiences.
He started playing football at Highland Springs High School in Richmond, Virginia. Mekhi was destined to be a star player from the beginning. He was regarded as a three-star prospect and was ranked as the No. 43 offensive tackle by 247Sports Composite.
Despite being offered lucrative scholarship opportunities and recruitment by over 31 colleges to play football, Mekhi ultimately chose Louiseville on signing day. Even in college, the 6’7″ giant was a sensation, being the highest-rated freshman in the country when he debuted in 2017.
Mekhi’s college football career ended when he was drafted 11th overall by the New York Jets in the 2020 NFL draft. He had a good run in the 2020 season, starting 13 games.
2021 was devastating for Becton as he suffered a significant knee injury just after playing in the NFL’s opening game for the Jets. What was expected to be a 4-6 week injury kept him out for the whole season.

More bad news in 2022: On August 8, Mekhi was diagnosed with an avulsion fracture in his injured knee. He was soon placed on injured reserve.
He is recovering from the surgery and is expected to return to practice in 2023. The Jets have big hopes for Mekhi, so even though they are unlikely to rest their hopes for the 2023 season on his shoulders, he still has a big opportunity to look forward to once he recovers fully.
Mekhi Becton And Kay Stylez Relationship
Mekhi Becton and Kay Stylez started dating in 2017 and have been in a relationship for five years.
The couple gave birth to a son this year.
Mekhi and Kay’s first public post as a couple was back in 2017 when he graduated from high school and got into the University of Louiseville. Both of them were 18 years old at the time. The picture is likely from their prom, based on how sharp they look.
Kay has been Mekhi’s supporter and no. 1 fan since he played football in college. However, she wasn’t the only one who saw how special he was. He was rated the best pass-blocker in the ACC, after all.

Mekhi Becton and Kay Stylez welcomed a baby on March 12. Mekhi Jr was announced on Christmas 2021.
Mekhi notified his fans via Instagram that ‘Lil Ticket’ was on his way. In the announcement post, he shared pictures of him celebrating Christmas with Kay.
While the couple eagerly anticipated Mekhi Jr.’s arrival, they had a party to reveal if the baby was a boy or a girl. Fittingly, the theme of the party was “Touchdowns or Tutus”. Mekhi and Kay jumped with happiness as the party popper blew out blue confetti.
On April 9, both posted separate versions of intimate and powerful images of the couple’s maternity shoot. Mekhi shared images of him and Kay sharing a loving embrace as Kay gently held her belly, caressing her child. Kay posted a more explicit yet tasteful version of the shoot.
A recovering Becton posted pictures with his son for the first time on October 11. “Why give up when you have something to live for!” he captioned the post.

Mekhi and Kay are in a very loving relationship and the introduction of their son has only strengthened their admiration of each other.
