New Auburn Football Coach Carnell Williams Wife Evan Christina Williams Is 39

New Auburn football coach Carnell “Cadillac” Williams became the interim head coach after the former head coach Bryan Harsin was fired.

Williams started his coaching career in 2015 while serving as the running backs coach at Henderson State. Later for two seasons (2017-18), he served as the running backs coach for the IMG football team of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. 

After leaving IMG, he went to coach (running backs) at the Alliance of American Football for the Birmingham Iron until Auburn Tigers hired him on the 23rd of January 2019. 

Furthermore, Carnell is an alma mater of Auburn; he played collegiate football for the Tigers and was very grateful when he got the opportunity to return home and coach at a place that helped him become who he is today. He also earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in 2014 and jumped into coaching in 2015.

Carnell Williams Playing Career In A Nutshell

Williams is a former running back in the National Football League; Cadillac attended Etowah High School and played his collegiate career at the University of Auburn.

After spending four seasons with the Tigers from 2001 to 2004, he got drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round, fifth pick, in the 2005 NFL Draft. The athlete signed a five-year contract worth $31 million with the Bucs.

However, he suffered a torn patellar tendon (right knee) while playing against Carolina in 2007 and underwent surgery which ended his season. He began practicing with the team in 2008 but got listed as questionable on the official injury report.

He again made it to active rosters with his better performance, played in his first game in 14 months against Detroit, and tore his second patellar tendon during the final match in December.

Later, Carnell played with the team till he signed with the St. Louis Rams on the 3rd of August 2011 to be the backup for Steven Jackson. 

Carnell Williams is happily married to his wife, Evan Christina Davis. She is 39 years old.

Carnell’s wife is the Human Assets Business Partner at Teach for America. They met for the first time when she was a 28-year-old teaching administrator, per Essence; Cadillac was then 29.

The couple was in their first year of college at Auburn and have stuck by each other’s side forever. Unlike other college couples who separated after graduating, they never gave up on their love.

After nine blissful years together, the athlete proposed to his now-wife during a romantic New Year’s Eve dinner cruise. They walked down the aisle and tied the knot in Decatur, Georgia, on the 2nd of July 2011. 

40-year-old Carnell “Cadillac” Williams and his wife Evan Christina Williams are parents to two children, sons Cole and Cuinn.

His wife showered him with the most precious gift of being a father.

Carnell and Evan have been through many highs and lows throughout their life, and in between, they have welcomed two adorable children. Cole was born in 2014, shortly before his dad returned to Auburn to graduate in sociology.

Later, the couple welcomed their second child Cuinn, but they haven’t shared much about their little ones on the internet. Williams has posted a few pictures with his family on Twitter but has remained inactive on Instagram.

He is busy training his athletes to improve their skills and performance and spends the rest of his time with his loved ones. Thus, the coach lives the moment and prefers not to share them on social networking sites.
