The player was arrested at 3 am after police stormed his mansion in 6 cars. The footballer is reported to be one of the most talented players in the league. He was supposed to be on a flight with the club to be on a pre-season tour but is in police custody as of now.
The victim claimed that she was raped during a sunshine break last month and had fled the mansion safely after the incident happened. The identity of both the accused and victim has not been revealed by the authorities until now.
