As per Wikipedia, Mimi Reinhardt was born  Carmen Koppel on January 15, 1995, in Vienna and died on April 8, 2022, in Herzlia, Israel, at the age of 107.

Mimi was born to Emil and Freida Koppel in Vienna and did her language studies at the University of Vienna. After the Nazi attack on Poland, she flew to Hungary with her husband and son.

Unfortunately, she and her husband got arrested, and her husband was shot dead by the Nazi army in front of her. As she could use her shorthand, she was employed in the camp administration.

Later, she met with Oskar Schindler and served as his secretary. Then, she started to type the list of Jewish workers who were set to transport to Nazi death camps. However, the train which was supposed to deport workers to Nazi death camps was diverted with the help of Schindler, which saved the lives of over 1200 people.

Mimi Reinhardt, Oskar Schindler’s secretary, died aged 107 at her home in Tel Aviv. As of now, her death is supposed to be natural.

Reinhardt was in the autumn of her life, and her body was weak recently. Her granddaughter, Nina, confirmed her death and wrote,” My grandmother, so dear and so unique, passed away at the age of 107. Rest in peace.”

After World War II, she found her son in Hungary and moved with him to Tangiers in Morocco, where she got married to a hotel manager. Later, the family shifted to New York, USA.

However, at the age of 92, Reinhardt moved to Israel to live with her only son, where she took her last breath. May her departed soul rest in peace.
