Raul Rosas Jr Brother Kevin Rosas Is A Muay Thai Artist In California

Raul Rosas Jr brother Kevin Rosas revived his fighting career after joining Phas 3. Raul also has another brother named Jesse.

The Rosas siblings, including their sister Kenia, have the blood of fighters. Their father, a boxing coach and former player, never pushed them to follow in his footsteps but told them to excel at what they have chosen to do.

Kevin is the only one amongst the siblings left to have a pro bout, as the rest have already created a buzz in the UFC world. And if we solely talk about Raul, then saying he has created a buzz would be an understatement.

On December 10, the 18-year-old made history as he became the youngest winner in UFC history, as Raul quickly made Jay Perrin submit. The family has seen lots of hardships, and now the kids of the Rosas family are showing that all those sacrifices haven’t gone to waste.

The oldest of the siblings, Kevin, got engaged earlier this year in February to Angelica Rosas. The two started dating in 2019 as Angelica went official with him on February 12, 2019, as she shared a photo of the two from a gym while Kevin was weightlifting.

And before they got engaged in February, the two announced that they were welcoming a baby together. And on April 22, Angelica gave birth to their baby daughter.

While he has always supported Raul, he has also shown backing to his sister, Kenia Rosas, nicknamed The Aztec Warrior. Kenia’s last fight was on August 29, 2021, ending with a victory against Fatima Mallett.

Her match against Cristina Crist was canceled on October 10, 2022, but the reason has not been disclosed. With his siblings all earning professional match victories, it might prompt Kevin to work even harder on his game.

Kevin is not the only brother of the UFC fighter. Jesse Rosas, two years older than Raul, is also creating a buzz. He won his last match against Raymond Smith on November 19 and has a winning streak for him in the Bantamweight.

Raul and Jesse were thought to be exceptional by the ones who trained them, and with Raul already becoming a household name, Jesse might also want to prove his worth soon.

UFC fans worldwide might look at the teenager and wonder where the fighting genes come from. Then the answer is his father, Raul Ross Sr, a boxing coach and a former player of the game.

Raul can pinpoint the reason behind his motivation, and one of the reasons was his father saying to him every day that you have to train harder, which used to spur the teenager to go out and perform his best in the cage.

As Raul kept training and sharpening his skills, everybody, including his parents, realized that their son was something special. When Dana came knocking on his doors with a contract in his hand, Raul didn’t have to think twice.

This was his opportunity to repay his parents, who had shifted from one state to another solely so that he could get better training facilities. The golden opportunity that could forever free his mother from being a housekeeper. An opportunity he wouldn’t let go to waste.

He won the bout against Mando Gutierrez and received the contract from Dana. Many questioned his age, saying he was too young, but in Raul’s mind, he was ready to tear up the stage.

A high school senior, Raul, after his victory against Jay Perrin, said until and unless the UFC champions belt weren’t wrapped around his waist, he wouldn’t be satisfied. In the post-match interview, Raul said he asked for the 50k bonus so that he could buy his mother a minivan.

As Raul doesn’t have a driving license, the fighter expects his mother to drop him off at his training sessions. Oyuki Rios is available on Instagram with the username @riosoyuki, but it is private.

In the post-match interview, Raul even revealed that though his mother supports his fighting career, she wants him to finish high school and find more of a normal job, such as a doctor or a lawyer. And though she isn’t happy with her son choosing a fighting career, she remains supportive.

On her Facebook handle, his mother has posts that go way back to 2016, when her daughter was starting to create a buzz in the UFC circuit. Since then, her youngest son has become a household name in that sport.

Oyuki has kept her son in check and not let the glitz and glam get to him. In October, she shared photos of Raul helping his relatives change tires in their car maintenance shop.

Oyuki, who dreams of her son taking up an academic career, might have to sideline that dream for a while, as there is no point in stopping a kid who has already shown stars to people way more experienced and older than him.

Until then, if there is one thing Raul’s mom will have to focus on, then it is to safely take her son to training sessions and probably let him focus on his upcoming match, which will be held next year in Brazil.
