After graduating from Suny Cobleskill and working as a headteacher for three different schools, Katie’s first job that linked her with sports came in 2009 when she got the opportunity to work as a youth sports coordinator at All American Indoor Sports.

Ryan Poles Family Has A Rich Background In The Sports Field

Ryan Poles comes from a religious family involved in the sports field.

It simply can’t be more American than that. Ryan Poles’ grandfather, Robert Poles Sr, served in the army for four years before being honorably discharged and later chose to serve the church as a deacon for over forty years.

His father, Robert Poles Jr, a graduate of Boston University, was a football coach in the Division III school, St John Fisher College, and it was there that Ryan was exposed to football as he worked as a ball boy.

Ryan’s uncles, Ronnie and Roland, were also football players. Ronnie took note of his older brother and played as a running back at Boston College. Roland played fullback at the University of Tennessee and was drafted in the 10th round by Los Angeles Chargers.

In this family of rich sporting culture came a daughter-in-law with an equal interest in sports. Ryan and Katie tied the knot when Ryan was the college scouting coordinator for Kansas City Chiefs.

Ryan might look like a serious man from an outsider’s perspective, but his wedding video shows that the poker face is only for the football cameras. The infamous video has been viewed 2.7 million times as Ryan and Katie have the grandest wedding entrance ever.

Robert is the president and founder of Poles’ Career Academy of Public Service and is a former cop of the Rochester Police Department, having served for twenty-one years and won several accolades.

Even at his age, Robert was hungry for knowledge, so after his retirement in 2008 from the force, he joined Nazareth College and worked at Paychex as a corporate Recruiter and Human Resource Advisor.

Robert has had a huge impact on Rochester City and has served the community greatly. He excelled in every role possible, whether it was being an athlete, a coach, a deacon, and especially a father.

The general manager of the Chicago Bears has kept his family away from the public limelight, but there is no doubt that if it weren’t for his dad willing to take him to college games, Ryan might not have had the same interest in football.
