Scott Volkers is well-recognized as a former swimming coach from Australia. He was the Head Swimming Coach at “Queensland Academy of Sport” from 1995 to 2012, including a stint as Head Women’s Coach in September 2002. Susie O’Neill, Elli Overton, and Samantha Riley were among the athletes he coached.

Because of the history of the case & the DPP’s unjustified delays, Judge David Reid of the District Court of Queensland issued a permanent stay in March 2020. Volkers is an internationally famous swimming coach. He is well-known for his enthusiasm, encouragement, & desire for success. Until 2010, he worked for Swimming Queensland and Swimming Australia.
The former swim coach was allegedly dismissed from the 2016 Rio Olympics squad after the chairman of the Australian Olympic Committee, John Coates, asked that he banned from the event.
