She was born in 1969 in Brighton, Colorado. Before working with ABC, she was an anchor and writer for a couple of news agencies based in Colorado. Currently, she is 53 years old.

Stacey Baca is married to a navy veteran Todd Gilchrist. He has more than 25 years of military experience and is a retired navy aviator. He was one of the best helicopter pilots in the US Navy. Baca was also dedicated to reporting on military news in the Chicago area.

For 20 years, Stacey has co-anchored ABC7’s most popular weekend morning newscasts, wishing viewers a hearty “Good morning!” on both Saturday and Sunday.

As an anchor for ABC7 since 2002, she did many reporting works for committed audiences in the Chicago area. Her colleagues and fans gave her a warm farewell on 26th June as it was her last day as an employee in the studio.
