Is Tamara Lich Arrested 2022? Alberta-Based Activist Arrested On Alleged Breach Of Bail Conditions
Tamara Lich, the organizer of Freedom Convoy 2022 and one of the key protest movement organizers, was arrested in Alberta on suspicion of violating bail conditions.
Tamara Lich is a Canadian Alberta-based activist who helped organize the Yellow Vest protests in Medicine Hat, Alberta in 2018 and 2019.
She was also a founding member of the Wexit movement, which later evolved into the Wildrose Independence Party of Alberta.
Tamara was charged with assisting in the organization of trucker protests against COVID-19 restrictions and vaccine mandates in February 2022.
Lich was one of nearly 200 people arrested during truckers and supporters’ protests that shut down the streets of Canada’s capital for nearly a month.
In response, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declared an emergency for the first time in 50 years, granting the government vastly expanded powers to restore order.

Tamara Lich was arrested in Medicine Hat, Alberta in June 2022 for allegedly violating bail conditions after already being arrested in February 2022.
The news was confirmed by the Freedom Convoy legal team’s Edmonton attorney Keith Wilson.

Currently, out on bond, Lich was charged with mischief, counseling mischief, and other offenses in connection with the convoy demonstrations that took place in Ottawa in January and February of this year.
Lich is currently under strict bail restrictions that prevent her from using social media to protest vaccine mandates. Wilson claims that police have indicated they could detain her for up to six days while arranging a prisoner transport to Ottawa.
Lich arrived back in Alberta after appearing in Toronto to receive the George Jonas Freedom Award from the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms. She gave a speech about freedom during which she made no mention of the convoy.
The court dismissed the Crown’s argument that Lich had broken her parole terms by intending to collect the prize during a bail review hearing earlier this month.

Tamara Lich Arrested For Alleged Breach Of Bail Conditions
Tamara Lich was arrested in Alberta after being suspected of going against her bail. On February 17, 2022, Lich was arrested in Ottawa on suspicion of advising others to commit misbehavior.
Following the federal government’s use of the Emergency Act, she was taken into custody in Ottawa in February and later released on bail.

Lich was currently under tight bond restrictions that prohibit her from using social media, opposing vaccine requirements, or “verbally, in writing, financially, or by any other means, support anything associated to the Freedom Convoy.”
As Tamara has been arrested again in June 2022, Lawyer Wilson stated that while he is still attempting to determine the specifics of the arrest, he thinks it may be related to accusations of breaking the terms of the bond.

Tamara Lich was taken into custody in Alberta on suspicion of violating her bail. Police have indicated Tamara Lich will be held for six days while they await transport to Ottawa.
Tamara organized a now-defunct GoFundMe effort that generated more than $10 million to finance the Ottawa protest, which turned into a fortnight-long occupation.
The Crown’s attorneys attempted to convince the judge that Lich had violated her bail conditions by intending to accept the prize at a bail review hearing earlier this month, but the judge dismissed their argument.
