Timothy Kosowicz’s status as a free man fears many citizens of Carlingford. 

About two decades ago, Kosowicz suffocated five-year-old Chole Hoson to death. He dumped the poor girl’s body after interfering with the corpse. However, the killer faced no charges based on mental illness.

Today, he still remains a threat to society. He lives around a number of schools, kindergartens, and daycares in Australia.

Where Is Timothy Kosowicz Now? Whereabouts of Chloe Hoson Murder

Timothy Kosowicz is living in Carlingford, Sydney’s northwest now.

Apparently, Timothy’s house is close to five different schools. He lives within walking distance from Carlingford West Kindergarten, The King’s School, Carlingford West Public, One School’s Global Sydney Campus in Oatlands, and Cumberland High School.

Reports also entail that he is a few meters away from childcare centers. Moreover, Timothy remains unsupervised and walks as a freeman.

This is quite shocking as Kosowicz has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. He even confessed to murdering Chole and blamed the voices in his head that forced him to perform the heinous act. 

However, Timothy refuses to speak about the situation outside the court. He can be barely pictured outside his house. 

Residents Fear Killer In Lose  

Residents of Carlingford are now stunned to know about Timothy Kosowicz, Chloe Hoson Murderer and killer, in lose.

After the news became public, parents now fear the safety of their kids. During an interview, one of them stated, “It’s scary; that’s the first thing that came into my mind.”

Likewise, residents are also demanding Timothy be taken somewhere else with supervision. Another parent added, “We should know who (is) living here; if there is any criminal here, we need to know it.”

On the other hand, Chloe’s family members are devasted by the situation. Chole’s uncle, Peter Chalker, said, “To me, as her uncle, I feel that it’s just a slap in the face to her. They’re not caring about the victims”.

The state officials have refused to comment on Kosowicz’s history or current circumstances.

Timothy Kosowicz Murder Complete Timeline 

In November 2003, Timothy Kosowicz lured Chole Hoson into his cabin with the help of a kitten. The two were neighbors in Lansvale Caravan Park.

Kosowicz then used two shopping bags to strangle Hoson to death. He molested the lifeless body before dumping her in a creek. Timothy Kosowicz was the age of 22 years old at that time.

After a long trial between Timothy Kosowicz and Chole Hoson’s parents (Karina Beharrell and Michael Hoson), the killer was found not guilty. He escaped the punishment based on mental illness and was sent to a psych ward instead. 

Timothy Kosowicz’s complete dateline is not available on Wikipedia to date. However, the officials released CCTV footage relating to the case in April 2018. The video showed Timothy carrying Chole’s bodybag before disposal.

The verdict of the case sparked a massive outcry across Australia. It remains one of the most controversial cases in Australia to date.
