Leon Edwards is a 30 years British mixed martial artist born on the 25th of August 1991 in Kingston, Jamaica.
Edwards has been competing professionally since 2011 and currently competes in the welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The FC fighter formerly competed for BAMMA and became the BAMMA Welterweight Champion. Furthermore, Leon is #2 in the UFC welterweight rankings as of the 12th of April 2022.

Edwards was born to Jamaican parents in Kingston, Jamaica, and he grew up in Birmingham; he lived in a one-room house with his family back in Jamaica.
The UFC fighter didn’t have a good childhood. Instead, he was surrounded by crime as his father would involve in what he describes as questionable activities. Later, Leon and his parents moved to Birmingham, England, when he was nine, but unfortunately, his dad got shot and killed in a nightclub in London when he was thirteen.

The athlete also followed in his father’s footsteps and got involved in criminal activities, including drug dealing, street fighting, and knife possession, along with his social circle, until his mom made him join the MMA club when he was 17. Moreover, he has a brother named Fabian, who is also an MMA fighter for Bellator MMA.

Leon hasn’t revealed his relationship and marital status, making us unaware if he has tied the knot with his better half or is single.
