Victor George Capistrano is one of the victims of the Ateneo de Manila shooting along with the former Lamitan City mayor Rosita Furigay.
Capistrano served as the executive assistant of Furigay, and he lost his life to a gunshot from a caliber .45 pistol, recovered from the scene where he died.

Victor Capistrano has gotten identified as one of the three victims who lost their lives in a shooting at about 2:55 p.m. at Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City.
The shooting happened on Sunday afternoon, and the suspect, Chao Tiao Yumol from Lamitan City, is under police custody. Furthermore, a caliber .45 pistol with a silencer got recovered from the scene.

Meet Victor Capistrano, Rose Furigay’s Executive Assistant
Victor served as the executive assistant of the former Lamitan City mayor Rosita Furigay, but unfortunately, he is no more with us; he got pronounced dead at the scene of the Ateneo de Manila shooting, as per various media outlets.
Along with him, the mayor also got shot and lost her life on arrival; however, it is unclear why Capistrano was present on the scene. Rosita went to Ateneo de Manila University to attend the graduation ceremony of her daughter Hanna Rose who is receiving treatment.

He must have tagged along with Furigay to celebrate Hanna’s graduation; following the unfortunate incident, the event got canceled, and people got heartbroken and devasted by the untimely death of the victims.

The identities of Victor’s family members have remained a mystery as he did not share his private life details on the internet, and we cannot trace his account on social media.
