The Brazilian volleyball player Carol Gattaz has maintained a low profile about her dating life. She is yet to share about her partner with the media. She belongs to the LGBTQ+ community.

Gattaz was in a relationship with fellow volleyball player Ariele Ferreira in 2015, as per a few sources. But they are no longer a couple and have broken up for undisclosed reasons. 

Furthermore, she now shares a beautiful bond with Priscila Daroit; they often post pictures of the beautiful moments they spend together and always express how much they love each other through social media. However, the athletes haven’t confirmed if they are in a relationship or have romantic feelings for each other.

As Carol is among the few volleyball players who have openly expressed themselves as LGBTQ+, she is not married to her husband.

However, the volleyball player has yet to announce her civil status; although she shares her lifestyle with her admirers through Instagram posts, she has concealed the details of her romantic life.

Gattaz has not hinted at getting engaged or walking down the aisle with her sweetheart, nor has she disclosed giving life to a new soul; she has yet to start a family and have kids with her life partner.

But the 41-year-old athlete will be a loving mother as she knows how to groom children; she gets surrounded by an adorable niece and nephew whom she adores a lot. Although having a busy life training and competing, she makes time to spend the holidays with her family and the little ones.

Maurício is an agricultural engineer, whereas Cidinha has been a housewife caring for the family; if she hadn’t been an athlete, she would have gotten into the field of agriculture to follow in her dad’s footsteps.

Carol Gattaz Is The Oldest Among The Three Siblings

Gattaz is not a single child; she is the eldest daughter born to Maurício and Cidinha and has gotten blessed with two younger siblings, Marcela and Renata Gattaz.

Her sisters are not into athletics and don’t play volleyball; Marcela is the CEO and one of the founding partners of Light Food Way, a company that provides excellent quality, practicality, and flavor recipes to make healthy eating practical and accessible.

Furthermore, Renata is an architect and owner partner at Saad Gattaz Arquitetura. Before that, she worked at Shopping SP Market and Edo Rocha Espaços Corporativos. Per her LinkedIn profile, she graduated from Centro Universitário Belas Artes.

They have also made their presence known on social media to share their lifestyle under the usernames @magattaz and @renatagattaz.arq. The architecture has made 137 posts and gained 10.3k followers, but the CEO has shared her 209 attachments with only 8k followers.

Carol has been playing volleyball since she was a teenager and has earned a few million dollars through her profession, but she has chosen to keep the details of her net worth under wraps.

The former volleyball player Sheilla Castro who represented Brazil for two decades from 2001 to 2021, had an annual salary worth $1.16 million; she retired on the 9th of April 2022.

Thus, the athlete makes sound finances from her profession; furthermore, she also makes extra income from social media partnerships and promotions to lead a happy and prosperous life.

Gattaz has collaborated with many brands, including Melitta Brasil, Anasol Protetor Solar, Odete Lis, and C6 Bank, among many more, to promote their products and services to the thousands of users following her. 

Before getting into volleyball, Carol was a soccer player and got invited to join the América women’s soccer team as she has a lot of trophies for being a top scorer in indoor soccer.

However, she committed to playing volleyball over futsal when she attended high school and received R$200 as her first salary as a player. Later she began her career defending São Caetano and moved to Rexona-Ades in 2000.

The athlete played for several teams before joining Finasa/Osasco in 2004 and winning the Superliga Brasileira de Voleibol. Furthermore, she went to Italy and played for Monte Schiavo to return to Brazil in the following season and defended Rexona-Ades again. 

Subsequently, Gattaz played for Volei Futuro and has been with Itambé/Minas since 2014. Moreover, she represented Brazil in the national team from 2002 to 2010 and made her comeback in 2021; she has made remarkable achievements throughout her career.

While competing at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the Women’s tournament, the volleyball player won a silver medal. Similarly, she has also won silver in Olympic Games, World Championship, and World Cup.
