Louisville, Kentucky, police tragically shot Breonna Taylor after they raided her residence late at night. According to the prosecution, officers allegedly lied to get a search warrant for Ms. Taylor’s residence.

The police claimed they announced barging in, but Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, who was inside the apartment, claims he did not hear any announcement, believed the police to be invaders, and fired a warning shot at them.

Who Was Breonna Taylor? Victim’s Criminal Records

Breonna Taylor was a 26-year-old ER technician who worked at the University of Louisville Health in Louisville, Kentucky. She was not involved in any illegal activity, nor does she has any criminal records.

Before joining Louisville Health University, she worked as an emergency medical technician, abbreviated EMT.

Jamarcus Glover and Adrian Walker were the main targets of the LMPD investigation because they were thought to be dealing drugs out of a nearby drug home. Taylor was in a relationship with Kenneth Walker since February 2020 after an on-off romance with Glover that began in 2016 and lasted for two years.

For various things, including bank statements, Glover had used Taylor’s address and phone number. Taylor’s boyfriend, Glover, claimed that Taylor had been managing his money in many audio recordings of jailhouse chats.

Due to many leads tracing Taylor and possible drug and narcotics sales involvement, LMPD declared a warrant in search of Taylor’s house. The warrant claims explicitly that Glover left Taylor’s apartment in January 2020 with an unidentified package that was thought to contain narcotics and took it to a known drug flat shortly after.
