Two guys claiming to be members of a neo-Nazi gang stabbed Fred Mangione to death outside a gay bar. 46, was stabbed at least 35 times in his van early Thursday.

The accused told police in this Houston suburb that they beat Mangione because he or his friend had made sexual advances, but other witnesses indicated the two had discussed striking gays ahead of time.

At about 1:30 a.m., a Harris County sheriff’s officer witnessed two males fleeing in the vicinity with blood on their clothes.

The sheriff’s department received an emergency call from the bar while they were being questioned.
