Cameron Herrin Case – Deadly Bayshore Crash

Jessica Raubenolt and her 1-year-old daughter Lillia were slain on Bayshore Boulevard, one of Tampa’s most recognizable and picturesque roadways, on a warm summer day in May 2018.

Cameron Herrin was operating a Ford Mustang when he slammed into a mother and kid who were crossing the roadway. Baby Lillia passed away a day after Jessica, who passed away suddenly.

According to the prosecution, Herrin and his older brother Tristen were competing in a race against John Barrineau, a 17-year-old driver. After being detained, John Barrineau and Cameron Herrin appeared before a Tampa court a few days later.

John Fitzgibbons, Herrin’s defense lawyer, battled to get Herrin released from custody so that he could get back behind the wheel, but the judge wasn’t having it.
