Two counts of first-degree murder and having a loaded forbidden or restricted firearm are brought against Francois Joseph Gauthier.

On May 25, Gauthier appeared in Vancouver Provincial Court and gave up his right to a preliminary hearing. On June 22, his case will go before the B.C. Supreme Court to start scheduling trial dates.

He was a reputed gangster accused of first-degree murder after a slaying in April 2021 in front of a well-known waterfront restaurant in Vancouver.

To further their inquiry, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), which is in charge of the double homicide in Whistler, revealed on Sunday night that the victims were Meninder Dhaliwal and Satinder Gill., At the same time, Francois Joseph Gauthier was the suspect.

According to the CFSEU-BC, the police were aware of these people and linked them to the period of increased violence. According to police, anyone around them or with them may be dangerously threatening their safety.

The CFSEU-BC stated that it was identifying them and releasing a public warning so that family, friends, coworkers, and the general public could take precautions to improve their safety.

Another drive-by shooting in which a man was shot in the arm occurred in September 2012. After the event, authorities set up security cameras on Bradner Road next to the house.

The 51-year-old Francois Joseph Gauthier is the individual accused of one crime of first-degree murder and one count of having a loaded firearm that is illegal or restricted in possession without a permit or license.

Gauthier remains in jail until his subsequent court appearance on April 29 at 9 a.m. in Vancouver Provincial Court.

A handgun was seen lying on the ground near the location of the incident in television news footage on Saturday night. A distressed man was also present, but police were able to keep him from approaching the crime scene.

Later, according to a media story, he was the victim’s brother Barinder Dhaliwal, and another brother named Menander was also present.

In addition, Vancouver Police earlier this week stated that there was no proof linking the stabbing at West Hastings and Broughton, which occurred close to the shooting location 15 minutes later. The victim of the incident was seriously hurt.

The 51-year-old Francois Joseph Gauthier has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of having a loaded handgun that is illegal or restricted in possession without a permit or license.

Gauthier remains in jail until his subsequent court appearance on April 29 at 9 a.m. in Vancouver Provincial Court.

Although the reason why the victim was killed was kept a secret, the court heard that the murder required extensive planning. Dhaliwal did not have a criminal history, but it was thought that he lived a gang lifestyle and was connected to the Brothers Keepers gang in particular.

According to testimony given in court, Gauthier shot Dhaliwal many times on the night of April 17, 2021, including twice in the back of the head.
