On June 11, the UFC newcomer will face Steve Garcia, dubbed Mean Machine, in the Lightweight division.

Maheshate will finally make his octagon debut after signing a contract with Dana White’s Contender Series seven months ago. The China native enters this battle on a six-fight winning streak. Garcia, on the other hand, is coming off a win in the UFC.

On Saturday, Hayisaer will face Steve Garcia as part of the UFC 275 undercard at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.

The 23-year-old lightweight, a product of Dana White’s Contender Series, makes his UFC debut with an 8-1 record as a late replacement for Damir Hadzovic.

While on DWCS, Hayisaer kept the fight moving along at a solid pace, with regular increases in strike output. After surrendering the first round, he won the next two.

MMA fighter Hayisaer Maheshate is 23 years old as he was born in 1999 in Xinjiang, China. Weighing 173 kg, he stands at a height of 6 feet. According to the official UFC website, his striking accuracy is 30%. 

The China native has had eight wins, one loss and zero draws so far in his career of little over two years. His fastest win was by a knockout at 1 minute 13 seconds. 

Maheshate has a history of being caught near the fences by volume punchers in his past games. Steve Garcia can capitalize on this in his upcoming Octagon debut.

Hayisaer Maheshate’s family in Xinjiang, China, has been rooting for him. They will not be traveling to Singapore to see him make his Octagon debut.

It is unknown if he has siblings, and the UFC fighter has not revealed the identities of his parents.

At the age of thirteen, Hayisaer began his martial arts journey. For a few years, he tried boxing, then traditional wrestling, before trying muay Thai.

He eventually switched to MMA and became enamored with it. His first real test came in 2019 when he was matched with Nikolay Goncharov at M-1 Challenge 103, following two victories in WLF inside his first month as a pro.
