She is the youngest of three and has two older sisters who also compete in moguls, Chloe Dufour-Lapointe and Maxime Dufour-Lapointe. 

Justine won her first major medal at the 2013 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Championships, finishing third and taking bronze.

Justine competed in Moguls with her sisters Chloé and Maxime at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. This was the fifth time the three sisters competed in the same event at the Winter Games.
