Anastasia Dobromyslova husband Tony Martin is also a professional darts player from Ellesmere Port. Anastasia has been hailed as the Russian Queen of Darts.
Anastasia is a three-time Women’s World Professional Darts Champion organized by the British Darts Organisation (BDO). She won her first championship back in 2008. Following her success, she competed in the male-dominated World Championship organized by Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in 2009.
The darts player returned to the BDO in 2011, and she won her second world champion title in 2012. Then again, in 2013, she won her third world championship.
Anastasia is the only darts player awarded the “Merited Master of Sport of Russia.”

Anastasia Dobromyslova husband Tony Martin started his career in darts by playing in British Darts Organisation.
Tony Martin started playing darts at the age of 18.
Martin was a runner-up to Mervyn King during his first year in BDO in 2002. In 2004, he reached the finals of the Swedish Open but lost to Shaun Greatbatch, an English darts player. In the following year, in 2005, during Norway Open 2005, but lost[to Michael van Gerwen, a Dutch darts player.
Tony started playing darts when he was just 18 with Merseyside Youth. When he was 21, he was recruited to play for the county of Clwyd. His first season earned him the British Dart Organisation Young Player of the Year Award.
In his career as a dart player, he switched and competed in Professional Darts Corporation for a few months before announcing his departure and returning to British Darts Organisation. Again in 2009, during Grand Slams of Darts, it was announced that Martin would return to play for Professional Darts Corporation in 2010.
Due to several injury problems and loss of form, his season was unsuccessful in PDC, so he lost out on a tour card.
In 2019, he was ranked top during the Italian Open and Slovak Masters. Martin’s highest World Championship average was 78.96 in 2005 while playing against Simon Whitlock. He uses 24 Gram Jocky Wilson darts and has been nicknamed Heartbreaker.
Anastasia and Tony Married Life
Tony and Anastasia first met each other back in 2005 during a tournament that took place in the Netherlands.
The duo currently lives in Ellesmere Port, a port town in the Cheshire West.
The couple gave birth to their first child, a baby boy named Joseph, in February 2017. Talking to Euro Sports’ Carrie Dunn, Anastasia mentioned that both had difficulty managing time for practice after their child’s birth. Since both she and Tony play professionally, they need to travel and practice.
But, after Joseph started nursery, things became easy for Anastasia; her mother helped take care of Joseph, offering her time to get in front of the board.
Since both are professional-level darts players, when asked if they ever practice together, Anastasia said they didn’t practice together because she hated it when Tony beat her.
In January 2021, they went to Russia and visited places like Tver. In 2019, Anastasia and Tony secured the top spots at the same tournament, The Slovaks Masters Champions.
