Fred Guttenberg’s Daughter Jaime Guttenberg: Life After The Tragedy
Jaime Guttenberg’s father, Fred Guttenberg, was devastated when he found out the news of her death.
The next day after the incident, he was very vocal about his emotions. The father blamed the country’s gun laws for letting such an incident happen.
“Jaime was such a special kid. All of the kids here are. What is unfathomable is Jaime took a bullet and is dead,” he said the next day. He added, “Don’t tell me there is no such thing as gun violence. It happened in Parkland.”
Since the incident, Guttenberg has become a national advocate for gun control. He is an activist talking against gun violence and has done considerable work since the mass shooting incident.
Moreover, Fred also has a son, Jesse, who studied at the same high school as his sister. Fortunately, he wasn’t victimized because he ran from the scene and went to meet his father in a store nearby.
As I just concluded day 4 of the criminal trial of my daughters murder, done with an AR 15, I am only first seeing this from @ChrisMurphyCT. THIS IS A PERFECTLY STATED POINT OF VIEW. Thank you Senator. When they are cheering only 4 people dead, they are morally bankrupt. https://t.co/0q3xUwFAns
