Action Andretti Beats Chris Jericho In AEW, Everything You Need To Know

Action Andretti is a wrestler age 24 from Pennsylvania. Action Andretti made his AEW debut in 2022 against Chris Jericho.

Last night a star was born as Action caused one of the biggest upsets in AEW wrestling history. The young wrestler pinned down the veteran of the game, Chris Jericho. 

It was a stunning debut for Andretti in AEW Dynamite, leaving Le Champion in shock. But nothing beats a tale of an underdog coming at the top against the favorite.

And after capping off a stunning performance, there was no doubt that the 24-year-old would be getting an official contract from AEW. Tony Khan, the president of AEW, confirmed from his Twitter handle that Andretti is an ALL-ELITE!

Action Andretti Real name is Tyler Andretti and made his wrestling debut in 2019.

At the age of 24, Action Andretti is the future of wrestling. Actions’ match against the veteran Jericho was one for the ages.

The AEW’s hottest name, Andretti was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1998. The wrestler has an official Instagram handle with the username @actionandretti, where he started posting when he made his debut in MCW Pro Wrestling.

After last night’s match, the OG fans of Andretti took to their social media handle to say that the wrestler had always been in his A game since his early days in MCW. Many even compared his aggression to that of John Cena.

Talent will shine no matter the size of the platform, and with that level of performance, Andretti deservedly got the new official contract from AEW. 

The wrestler quoted the tweet posted by AEW President Tony Khan, saying he is stoked to be part of the great team. He is available on Twitter with the username @ActionAndretti and last night he gained 2000 Twitter followers within 20 minutes.

Many wrestling fans have even hailed the veteran wrestler Chris Jericho for shining the light on the young wrestler and letting him have his moment. 

Action’s Wrestling Career So Far

Andretti made his All Elite Wrestling Dynamite debut last night against Chris Jericho and shook up the whole world.

A win in his very first match is something that every athlete would dream of and for Andretti, that dream turned into reality as he pinned down the veteran wrestler.

Andretti’s Stunning Wrestling Debut In 2019

Action announced himself to wrestling fans in 2019 when he debuted for MCW Pro Wrestling. And since then the Philadelphia native has been a crowd magnet. 

His in-ring debut came in 2020 as he went head-to-head against Fernando Alvarado in Joppa Maryland and the result ended in the favor of Andretti.

With flawless victories coming left right and center for Andretti, he had a shot at Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup in 2021. And the 24-year-old won the cup. 

Last Christmas, Andretti also made his debut for Jersey Championship Wrestling and by the end of the year, Andretti was walking with the championship belt of MCW.

Debut For AEW In 2022

Andretti made his AEW Dark debut earlier this year in January as he took on Dante Martin. A week later after the match against Martin, Andretti announced he would be taking on Private Party in a tag team match with Myles Hawkins.

Throughout 2022 Andretti kept on competing in MCW and put his belt on the line as well but nobody could better him for the championship. On October 10, Action was called once against by AEW as he took on another tag team match.

He later competed against QT Marshall as well in AEW Dark Elevation which was his biggest match until last night. So with AEW finding his new poster boy, hopefully, Andretti’s rise will continue for years to come.
