Bianca Pagdanganan Parents – Filipino Golfer’s Five Family Facts

Bianca Pagdanganan is the daughter of Samuel Pagdanganan and Carmina Pagdanganan. She was born on October 28, 1997.

In the 2021 LPGA Q-series, Pagdanganan’s parents accompanied her in the United States. After the tour, she said, “I want to thank my parents for being with me for the last two weeks.

According to Bianca, her father was the one who influenced her in sports. Her dad took her to the golf session on weekends, and the times ultimately hooked her with the sport. The young Pagdanganan would whack a few golf balls at the driving range and eventually show a talent for the game.

She attended Assumption Antipolo High School, earning her diploma in 2015. To pursue a major in sports management, Pagdanganan enrolled at Gonzaga University in the United States in 2015, where she also played golf during her spree time.

Pagdanganan transferred to the University of Arizona after spending two years at Gonzaga. Later, she competed on behalf of the University of Arizona and assisted the Arizona Wildcats in winning the 2018 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championships.

Because of her golfing prowess, especially her long-driving talent, her teammates dubbed her “The Unicorn.” After graduating from college, she plans to pursue a professional golf career.

Bianca was discovered and scouted during her time in college. Bianca recalls that when she visited her in the Philippines, Corazon always enjoyed cooking food for her.

Her father, Samuel Pagdanganan, has been her inspiration all her life. 

She has said: “My dad started bringing me to the driving range when I was seven years old. It all started out of curiosity. I just enjoyed watching my dad and thought it was so cool that he hit it far. Eventually, he gave me a set of plastic clubs to pique my curiosity. Once I started hitting things inside the house with my toy clubs, that’s when mom told me to practice outside and bring it to the driving range.”

“When I first left for college, trying to manage [my] time with everything (school, golf, workouts) was pretty tough. But I believe this helped me transition to life on tour, especially with all the travelling that I do. I can’t say that I’ve mastered it already, but it prepared me for life I would live for the next couple of years.”

Bianca was raised alongside two siblings, a sister, Ines, and a brother, Carlos. The golfer receives support in an excess amount of money from her siblings.

Her sister, Ines, is dating a Filipino man named Dominic Carreon. She has shared pictures of her life on @nakakaines, her IG profile. As per her bio, Ines likes to read, eat, and watch television.

Like her sister Ines, Bianca’s younger brother, Carlos, goes by the handle @carlospagda on Instagram. Although, fewer things are known about him, as his profile has been kept in private terms.

Bianca Pagdanganan’s family are natives of Quezon City. However, they have now migrated to Mandaluyong.

Besides getting support from her family, she is well-backed by her boyfriend, Raymart. Her Filipino lover is a former golfer; he completed his Master’s degree in Applied Economics. Presently, Raymart is working as a Data Analyst, as stated in his Instagram handle, @raymartolentino.

Pagdanganan is a big fan of Filipino professional golfer Jennifer Rosales. She recalls that Rosales used to meet her at Camp Aguinaldo.

Similarly, in recent years, Pagdanganan is also very close to Yuka, as the two have competed on the same tour.

Pagdanganan participated in national youth competitions in the Philippines before emigrating to the US. She won the 2013 Philippine Ladies Open, the 2014 Philippine Junior Amateur Open, and the stroke play portion of the 2013 Philippine Amateur Open, where she finished with a low medal.

She also finished second in the 2013 Philippine Amateur Championship and the 2012 PHILEX Northern Luzon Regional Amateur Golf Championship.
