Later in 2019, the athlete’s wife gave birth to their baby girl Ariyah, and she celebrated her 3rd birthday on the 27th of February 2022. The mini Bolles already have a strong sibling bond and get along well.

Garett is the son of Grove Boles, and he was raised with his two younger siblings by a single father who works in real estate financing.

His mom and dad went on separate paths, and the elder Boles took responsibility for their kids. The athlete also has two older brothers, Kyle and Weston, who served LDS missions.

However, Grove kicked him out of the house when he was 19 and a high school graduate, but he never abandoned or disowned his son. Although the real estate financer sent his child to live independently, he always supported him, and they often contacted each other.

After Garett moved out of his father’s house, his high school lacrosse coach at Lehi High, Greg Freeman & his wife, Emily Freeman, took him into their household.

Although the coach had four children, he welcomed the athlete to their family, knowing how much potential he had to thrive, become a better person and have a successful athletic career; ever since he has referred to them as his parents. 

However, Greg and Emily let Bolles follow three rules; the Freemans let him attend weekly services at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, tithe 10 percent of any income he made to the church, and turn off and turn over his phone every night.

The athlete also worked for Greg as a garage-door technician and enjoyed it. He could have taken over the garage business, but his parents wanted him to play as he had eye-popping speed and athletic ability for a big man. They even encouraged him to earn a scholarship at the junior college program in Ephraim, Utah. Without them, the Denver Broncos offensive tackle wouldn’t have made it to where he stands today.

Bolles has been playing sports since his teenage years; he attended and played on the offensive and defensive lines for Westlake High School in Saratoga Springs, Utah, while also competing in lacrosse. 

After graduating from high school, the footballer enrolled at Snow College, and as a sophomore at Snow, he became the Western States Football League’s offensive player of the year as a tackle. Later the athlete transferred to the University of Utah and signed with Utah as the number one overall junior college prospect in 2016.

Furthermore, Denver Broncos drafted Garett in the first round (20th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft, and he signed a four-year agreement worth $11.01 million with $8.59 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $6.16 million on the 11th of May 2017. Later on the 28th of November 2020, the footballer signed a four-year contract extension worth $68 million with the Broncos.
