Who Is Gwendolyne Fourniol? Meet Miss World Philippines 2022
Gwendolyne Fourniol, 21 was crowned Miss World Philippines 2022. As a representative from the Negros Occidental, she has shed light on the importance of education for children.
Fourniol is a French-Filipino model, who was recently crowned Miss World Philippines 2022.
At the young age of 21, she was able to communicate her strong ideologies concerning education for children and leave her mark in the competition. Born and raised in Europe, Gwendolyne decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps who comes from a small town in the Philippines.
During her recent visit to the ERDA, Gwen had posted a picture of the children at ERDA and appreciated the organization as a beacon of light for children in the Philippines.
She has mentioned that ERDA helped her mother to escape the cycle of poverty, earn her degree and raise her and her two brothers to always give back, be compassionate, and be grateful.
How Old Tall Is Gwendolyne Fourniol? Miss World Philippines 2022 Age and Height
Gwendolyne Fourniol was born on June 11, 2000. She is currently 21 years old and stands tall at the height of 5 feet 8 inches.
As a child, she spent most of her days growing up in France. She later pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Oxford Brookes University in London.
She also works as a French language tutor and has talked about her involvement with the ERDA during the competition.
During the Q&A portion of the event, Gwendolyne also mentioned that education is the “greatest weapon against poverty.”, which shows the influence of her mother’s early life and career.
She moved to the Philippines in 2019, where she worked as a model. She participated in Miss World Philippines in 2021 and made it to the top 15.
For her participation in the event again in 2022, she received the support of Promedia chief executive officer Paul Izon Reyes and Belle Salon owner Jam Aquino.
At the age of 21, Gwendolyne won the title of Miss World Philippines 2022.

“Always Had My Back” Meet Gwendolyne Fourniol’s Parents
Gwendolyne Fourniol was born to father Thierry Fourniol and Sim Bolivar. She also has two brothers.
Her mother, Sim, is a former beneficiary of the Educational Research and Development Assistance (ERDA) Foundation, which provides education for underprivileged children.
Sim Bolivar earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Philippines Women’s University in Manila. She later moved to work as an au pair for a family in Luxembourg, where she first met her husband Thierry at a park.
Her father currently works as a Senior Analyst in Belgium, while her mother works as a nurse in a hospital in London.
