Aneesh’s father, Anil Kunchala, from Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, says his son was influenced by Captain Tom and wanted to study cricket and complete a ’10-day 1000 hit challenge on his own lawn to raise money for the NHS.
Anil and his wife, Sneha Valmeti, launched a crowdfunding effort, and Aneesh’s attempts at the challenge were uploaded on social media to help spread the word about the fundraising.
