Hassan Haskins parents Lynette McAlpine and Hassan Haskins Sr raised two athletes. 

Hassan’s mother works in the healthcare field and his father is a hip-hop artist.

Lynette McAlpine and Hassan Haskins Sr raised the Titans running back alongside his half-sibling Maurice Alexander. The St Louis natives, Lynette and Haskins Sr, had already seen one of their sons being drafted in the NFL, and they were willing to see one more. They believed in his talent despite him going unnoticed in high school.

Unlike other moms, who tell their kids to shut down their games, Lynette McAlpine would carefully watch her son play Madden and ask to switch his tactics. McAlpine had heard many coaches reject her son because of his tall height, but it didn’t let her down. 

One could only imagine Lynette’s happiness when the Titans drafted Haskins. She attended the draft party with her better half. McAlpine works in the healthcare field and is available on Twitter with the username @LynetteMcalpine.

Hassan Haskins Sr calls himself the biggest fan of his son. He loves football as much as he loves music. The father of the running back is a hip-hop artist with six songs listed on the website Reverbnation, but he mainly worked in construction.

Haskins Sr goes by the stage name SanDaDon and has a YouTube channel, but the last upload was five years ago. One of his first uploads goes back to 2008 when he is seen singing at Club Viva. 

Haskins Sr is committed to watching his son play so much that he does it in the middle of his work. He shared the post on his Twitter handle where in the middle of all the construction mess, he had a TV in place as he watched the Titans against the Jaguars. 

Hassan Haskins grew up in St Louis in a family of Missouri fans and would carry his Mizzou backpack to school.

Hassan’s parents Lynette Mcalpine and Hassan Haskins Sr tied the knot on November 3, 2008, on Lynette’s birthday and two weeks before Hassan turned nine. Haskins Sr continues to post loving posts for his wife on his Twitter handle. 

Hassan went to the same high school as his brother Maurice Alexander. They chose Eureka as it was close to their home and as they lived in a rough neighborhood they wanted to keep their sons as close as they could. 

But Hassan had an extended family. Extended in the sense that he was the beloved son of Eureka. His games would close out the whole neighborhood and would celebrate the wins with his mom and dad.

All his cousins were at the NFL Draft Party with him and his parents. On May 3, 2022, he shared the post on his Instagram handle with his family decked him red and ‘black gear. 

Recently, Hassan gave a glimpse of his dating life as he shared a series of romantic photos with his girlfriend Makiah Green. The pair seemed to be in festive spirits, posing for photos under the Christmas trees and wearing matching pajamas.

Hassan Haskins brother Maurice Alexander is a former NFL player who played his last game in 2017.

Maurice is a half-sibling of Hassan from his mom’s side. Alexander, age 31, was drafted in 2014 by Los Angeles Rams. He was a round-four pick and played as a safety for the Rams.

Like his brother, Maurice made a name for himself at Eureka High School as he was a two-time all-conference player. Alexander first enrolled himself at Arizona Western College before transferring to Utah State University. 

Maurice played as a defensive end before switching to become a linebacker in his college. In NFL he played as a safety. His mother and Haskins Sr were pleased by Alexander’s choice of transferring to Utah State. But the pair had to once attend a court hearing session as Alexander got into an altercation and had to spend 45 days in jail.

He was suspended by Utah Stae but was reinstated prior to the 2013 season. Alexander was part of the Rams for four seasons before moving to Seattle Seahawks but didn’t get to play a single game and the same thing happened at Buffalo Bills.
