In April 2022, Romanian police raided his home as part of a human-trafficking investigation, drawing attention to Tate’s ties to key figures in the American MAGA movement. It began after a woman was reported to be held against her will at his house, according to Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism.

Tate, who is also a prominent pro-Trump online personality was a vocal Trump supporter prior to the April 11 raid. Best known in the online far right as a kickboxer before then, the raid was conducted as per the reports that an American woman had been abducted.
In detail, the investigation progressed to include “crimes of human trafficking and sexual allegation.” A spokesperson for the Romanian policy agency added on April 27 that no one has been charged or arrested in the case yet, but the investigation is ongoing.

Dave Portnoy’s Feud With Boxer For Hitting Women Story
Recently, on a podcast with Barstool founder Dave Portnoy, BFFs Ep. 88, Portnoy talked about several things. However, he concluded his interview with Andrew by talking about his early kickboxing days, his money-making, his net worth, and why he is seen as sexist.
Tate’s treatment of women had been reported negative since long ago. In fact, he was removed from the British version of Big Brother in 2016 after a video surfaced of him hitting a woman with a belt.
Similarly, in a recent live stream hosted by Adin Ross with several other content creators, including Felix “xQc,” Ross invited the British-American kickboxer and internet celebrity Andrew Tate onto the stream to discuss some of his thoughts on women. Felix disagreed with almost every point Tate made, such as women being bad drivers.
